A handful of dinosaurs must have escaped that fateful meteor, at-least that’s what it seemed like Saturday in Greeley.

The life-like model dinosaurs, which came in many shapes and sizes, made themselves at home in Island Grove Regional Park for Jurassic Quest.

The exhibit, which displayed over 50 dinosaurs, many of which were animatronic, and some which were able to be ridden, drew about 6,000 people over the course of the first day. This weekend alone, Chris Arnold, operations coordinator, said the event was expected to draw a total of 10,000 people.
