Performances & Demonstrations By

The Colorado Dance Collective (CDC) was established in 2009, by a small group of dedicated dancers. Now in their 14th year, this non-profit has grown to include five separate auditioned companies, each specializing in a different dance style: Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, and Swing. CDC dancers are adults, 18 and older, in all stages of life, who find common ground in their passion for dance as a performing art. Over the years the CDC has broadened its scope to include several community outreach programs and multiple performance opportunities per year.

Felisha Bustos

Felisha Bustos works with a variety of media. Her works can be described as vibrant, colorful, and she is inspired by the beauty she sees in nature and in people. Her passion is to empower others and to create spaces where people can authentically connect with themselves and others. Felisha teaches private art lessons, group art classes, and has taught art with Greeley/Evans District 6. A muralist, she works independently and also collaboratively with students. She recently worked on a large scale mural in the Student Commons of Aims Community College in Greeley. Felisha resides in Greeley, Colorado and is a student at the School of Art and Design at the University of Northern Colorado, expecting to complete her Bachelors Degree in Art with an emphasis in painting in 2024.

An accomplished plein air painter, Daniel Augenstein will be creating a piece during the event!

During his time as a student in the University of Northern Colorado’s art program, he had the opportunity to study in Florence, Italy—an experience that changed his life in many ways. Throughout his career, he has taught in public school, at UNC and at Aims Community college.  From drawing, to printmaking, to ceramics, to painting, my experiences broadened and I fell "head over heels" infatuated with mark making.  “I find whimsical lines of energy in my paintings begin to imitate the energy that I sense around me. I have fallen in love with my brush!”

sally goble

Sally’s weaving adventures began over 40 years ago when she lived in Alamosa, Colorado. She had the opportunity to take an intensive three month course from nationally known weaver Eppie Archuleta. Sally’s initial weavings were strictly in the Chimayo style taught by Eppie. After moving to Greeley, Colorado Sally became a part of the Northern Colorado Weaver's Guild which opened up an even larger world of fiber to her.

“I love the fine detail and the slow building of a motif or design in the southwestern tapestry style I first learned. I have always been drawn to geometric, angular designs.”

Sarah Sathe

Sarah Sathe is a spinner and a knitter. She has been knitting for 20 years and spinning for about 8 years. She enjoys the transformation from fiber to yarn and from yarn into a finished project. “The challenge of transformation is interesting and I find tactile problem solving meditative. I enjoy making a variety of finished items including clothing and household objects.”

Valerie Vampola

Valerie Vampola is a vocalist and keyboardist based out of Northern Colorado. Her Santa Barbara, California roots bring her to venues across Southern California and Colorado, performing in a variety of jazz, soul and rock acts. She frequently plays as her own solo act, with the singer/songwriter Katie Quick, and in the classic rock cover band Steve & The Cruisers, but she continues to collaborate with many acts across the front range like the Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra where she sang back-up on their most recent album ‘Compared to What’ featuring Tower of Power’s Larry Braggs.

Brews & Spirits By

Established in 2015, WeldWerks Brewing Co. is an award-winning and locally-owned craft brewery in Greeley, Colorado recognized for brewing an array of beer styles including Juicy Bits, one of the most highly regarded IPAs in the country.

Syntax was one of only a handful of distilleries in Colorado when they opened in 2010. From the beginning, they decided to make authentic grain-to-glass craft spirits. Since then, they’ve made every Syntax product in their handmade stills, and have never used neutral grain spirits or blended Syntax products with base spirits from other distillers.

The Kress Cinema & Lounge is Greeley’s only independent movie theater. It is also a full-service bar and restaurant that provides movie-goers and bar patrons with specialty cocktails, craft beer, wine & gourmet small plates, in addition to classic concessions.
