CYNTHIA AGUIARSpotlight on our 2026
Artist in Residence
Cynthia Aguiar's practice brings together organic elements and human-made processes, blending digital and physical mediums to create new forms of expression. She incorporates technology to move fluidly between mediums such as sculpture, painting, and projection mapping, utilizing 3D printers, embedded LEDs, and more.
"Working with the Greeley Creative District for the 2021 Dia De Los Muertos Exhibit, I made lasting professional and personal connections that have been pivotal to my art career. Working with Armando [Silva] for that show, led to the opportunity to create a mural during the inaugural WeldWalls Mural Festival he and Briana Harris organized. That work helped me gain visibility and opened the door to other local projects."
