The City of Greeley’s One Percent for Art Program and the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) have been collaborating on a great multi- year Alleyway Art mural project. Artists have been commissioned to create outdoor murals and wall art that showcase Greeley’s broad range of social, cultural and historic values while adding new creative life to the downtown location. We are now seeking qualified artists to submit proposals for two new outdoor murals in the Downtown Art Alleyway in Greeley CO.

Submission Requirements Artists may submit one or more proposal packets. Artist Proposal Packet must include the following:
1. Artist Resume or Artist Statement
2. A rough sketch of the proposed design in color with a written description that explains:
a) materials that you intend to use and b) the meaning or inspiration for the design.
3. Four to six digital images of completed past work must be sent. Please send via email. Images must be formatted to be viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader and large images will need to be sent one or two at a time.
4. Inventory sheet with description of past work images including title, medium, cost, dimensions, location and date produced.
Submission Deadline Proposal Packets for this request must be submitted to the City of Greeley Cultural Affairs to kim.snyder@greeleygov.com on or before 11:00 pm on May 30, 2020. The artists selected will be notified by June 19, 2020. Incomplete or late entries will not be considered.
