Empowering CREATIVES

BECOME A FRiEND OF THE GREELEY CREATiVE DiSTRiCT

Your contribution will multiply the resources, programming and support that we can offer to creatives to help them thrive—enriching our community for everyone to enjoy!

Annual & ONE-Time GiVING

GENERAL OPERATING SUPPORT

Keeping the lights on and engaging the public is a rewarding endeavor, but it carries a significant price tag. Your generous one time or monthly support of an undesignated gift will provide our team the flexibility to utilize your gift in the most effective and immediately impactful way for the organization.

Endowment, Legacy & Lifetime Giving

LONG-TERM SUPPORT

The Greeley Creative District has established an ongoing endowment to ensure the long term viability of our operation. Because our board is committed to the long term health of the organization, a percentage of all general support is directed to this fund. However, donors may choose to contribute directly to this fund.

Corporate Sponsorship

EVENT SUPPORT

Show your customers and supporters just how invested you are in the arts, local creatives and the community through annual or event sponsorship. With your in-kind donation of goods/services or financial investment, expand your marketing reach and demonstrate your values to patrons while supporting the Greeley Creative District.

Our Work In The Community

The Greeley Creative District is a non-profit organization formed to highlight, promote, grow and support our local creative community and businesses. We host events that showcase local talent, offer opportunities for creatives and celebrate Greeley’s unique cultural identity. Here are a few snapshots from our initiatives:

The Impact of your gift

The Greeley Creative District is a 501c3 Charitable organization through the IRS as well as a Colorado Charity, so your donation may be tax deductible (consult with your tax advisor). In addition as of October 2023, the Greeley Creative District is a qualified Enterprise Zone project! This means that your monitary donation to the District of $100 and up to $400,000 may qualify for a 25% Colorado Income Tax credit, and non-cash (in-kind) donations of time or materials may qualify for 12.5% tax credits as well.

EXAMPLE

The impact on income tax costs given the scenario of a contributor in the 33 percent federal tax bracket who gives a gift of $1,000:

  • Initial Donation Amount $1,000

    • Federal Income Tax Deduction -$330

    • Colorado Income Tax Deduction -$46

    • Colorado State Tax Credit -$250

  • After tax impact of donation $374

If you cannot use all of your credits in a given tax year, you can carry forward the balance up to five years.
The above example is for illustrative purposes only. Please consult your tax professional to relate this to your particular circumstances.
