Some workshops require prior registration and a fee while others are free and allow for drop-in attendance. See the workshop details below each location to learn more.
Plus, the City of Greeley will be offering FREE Hot Chocolate Packets at all of these workshop locations as well as Light Up Lincoln, The Festival of Trees (UCCC), Holiday Lane (downtown Greeley), The Colorado Model Railroad Museum, Homesteader's Holiday (Centennial Village) and Indie Arts Market (Atlas Theater).

Participants will need about 20 to 30 minutes to make a greeting card in this workshop with. All the supplies will be provided. Participants will learn how to use a paper cutter, an embossing folder, a die cut machine, Distress Oxide ink, a blending brush and a corner punch.

Make Your Own Yule Log | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Embrace tradition, craft with nature and infuse your home with holiday spirit by making your own Yule Log this holiday season! In this workshop you will learn how to decorate a rustic piece of wood with all the trimmings. The Yule Log has its origins in ancient Norse and Celtic winter solstice traditions, symbolizing the sun's rebirth and the promise of longer, brighter days ahead. Its flames were thought to embody light, energy and protection from evil spirits during the year's darkest period. All supplies for this program are provided for free. Registration is required.

The sleigh bells are ringing. Are you listening? Snow may be glistening in the lane, but we're still having fun at the library. It's time to frolic and play at LINC for an afternoon of winter arts and crafts. Walk through our winter wonderland to make winter slime, snowflake suncatchers, reusable icicles, and so much more.
Write your Letter to Santa and drop it off in the red North Pole mailbox!

Macrame Hanging Disco Ball Planters | 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Registration Required, Cost: $60
Grab a ticket and join local fiber artist, Brianna Steele of Fox & Hare Creations for this unique workshop in their beautifully embellished event space! Get groovy and hop back to a time of flower power and bellbottoms but with a modern flair. Students will be expertly guided through creating a macrame hanger to hold a fun disco ball planter.
Hang it in a window and reflect rainbows down into your space. This class is appropriate for beginner students and the instructor will provide all materials (plant not included, but they will be offered 20% off in the shop that day to particpants).
Light refreshments will also be available for students to enjoy as they work!
Registration closes on 12/10 to allow the artist time to prepare the materials (there are only 8 slots available). No late registrations can be accepted.
