The City of Greeley ‘myGreeley’ image campaign is seeking bids to paint an outdoor two-dimensional mural on the concrete pavers of the walkway Downtown 9th Street Plaza near the entryway to the Art Alleyway. This will replace the mural that previously represented the ‘Greeley Unexpected’ campaign. The City is responsible for power washing and cleaning the existing mural before the selected artist begins their mural process and is responsible for maintaining the new mural for one year, keeping the artwork free from excessive debris, and repairing any extensive damage and/or vandalism. At the end of the one-year term, the City may either request for the artist to touch up the painted mural with additional compensation, or City may replace the mural with any artist of the City’s choosing or the City may choose to remove the mural.
