Show Your Art at The Blue Mug
Requirements
Pieces must be prepared to hang on the wall. (ex. framed, with hardware, stretched wire…) Unfortunately, there is not space for free-standing works.
The work must be family friendly and appropriate for all audiences.
Artists must provide title-tags/labels if they wish to sell their work.
An artist statement or bio for display is encouraged, but not required, so that customers can learn more about the artist.
Logistics
SHOW TIMEFRAME: Typically art shows last 1-2 months depending on the location. If the artist wishes to participate in Greeley’s First Friday Artwalk, The Blue Mug @ 17th St. is recommended because of its proximity to the downtown.
OPENING RECEPTION: Artists are welcome to host an opening reception if they wish. It must just be coordinated with The Blue Mug in advance so that they can staff it appropriately.
ART SALES: Artists are encouraged to sell their pieces. The Blue Mug may only accept cash for art sales. The Blue Mug will collect all the proceeds and save them in an envelope for the artist. If buyers would like to pay with a different method, artists must coordinate alternative options (ex. leave Venmo, Zelle or other platform information or leave contact information to handle payment). The Blue Mug does not take any commission on sales, but they do require that all sold work is left on display until the art show is over. Artists must coordinate the delivery or pick-up of all purchased art after the show has concluded.
