Business Spotlight: Allo Fiber

Providing Meaningful Connections in Greeley

As a highschool student growing up in Hayden, Colorado I remember the early days of the internet. If I needed to log-on for schoolwork, I had to unplug our phone, string an ethernet cable across the kitchen and cultivate patience as I waited the 5 minutes it took to “dial-up.” In our rural town we didn’t have the same access that larger cities had.

While limited access was mostly just an inconvenience then, today it can be a huge impediment—we depend on the internet for commerce, work, communication and information. A reliable connection is just as critical as traditional utilities–after all, most are managed through online accounts! That’s why ALLO Fiber has committed to bringing high quality service and connection to local communities since 2003.

Bringing Big Tech to Small Towns

Like myself, ALLO’s President and CEO Brad Moline grew up in a small town. After graduating with distinction from the University of Nebraska and launching his career in communications, Moline returned to his hometown of Imperial, Nebraska to raise his family and to found ALLO Communications. He believed the unlikely pairing of big tech and hyper local support could generate economic opportunity for his largely ag-based community–while of course figuratively and literally bringing the community up to speed with dependable internet access.

ALLO’s Core Values

Since then, ALLO has grown community by community, building infrastructure and creating new jobs to support their service in each location. Unlike their competitors ALLO is committed to ubiquitous builds–or systems that reach every neighborhood, complete with service brought all the way up to the home. They don’t just cherry-pick streets based on property values, and they make sure no additional hook-up installation is required. Plus, if you call support, it might just be a neighbor or community member you recognize on the line ready to answer your questions. These policies and the additional investment they require are the living embodiment of the company’s core values:

  • Exceptional service no matter where you are in your home: Fiber internet provides faster speeds with symmetrical uploads and downloads.

  • Hassle-free service with no contracts or hidden fees: ALLO provides straightforward billing terms that you can count on. When you sign up for our services, you pay the same fair price as all our customers.

  • Honest service with no bull: Our business model is simple: ALLO provides faster, more reliable service. No games. No gimmicks.

  • Local service with genuine support: We pride ourselves on being a part of the communities we serve and love when our customers stop by our stores to Say ALLO!

Walking Their Talk

Recently, the Greeley Creative District got to see ALLO investing in the community first hand as they sponsored our Día de Los Muertos celebration. ALLO’s support was a true testament to their commitment to Greeley, not just a bottom line. Their contribution made it possible for us to compensate the talented creatives who performed and purchase food from Los Comales, enabling us to keep the event free to the community.

“ALLO believes part of offering Exceptional Service means being an Exceptional Neighbor–that means showing folks we care.” said Maria Bocanegra Tejeda, Bilingual Public Relations, Events and Sales Support for ALLO Fiber.

Personally, I’ve experienced ALLO’s neighborly care as ALLO field technicians work to bore through my backyard during their fiber installation process. Gently tapping on my front door, Isaac L., had clearly read my note about a sleeping baby–he answered my questions, shook my hand and left his contact information in case we had any issues down the road. What a contrast to my current provider’s automated phone tree Customer Service!
