Annual H’Art of Envision Art Show 2023
The H’Art of Envision Art Show is a unique and expressive collection of works created by the talented artists supported through Envision’s Art Program. This event highlights paintings, ceramics and other types of media created by adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a formal gallery setting.

The showcase is meant to raise awareness while providing a platform for dialogue between the artists, Envision and the community.
H’Art of Envision came about to bring light to artists who have been historically devalued, who are often underestimated and who would not otherwise be featured in a professional art studio or gallery. The work of these artists offers a view into who they are—art is after all a universal language that allows these artists to communicate when other means are inaccessible. The quality of their artwork inspires and often surprises attendees helping to shift perceptions about individuals with IDD within the community.
Artists supported by Envision receive 65% of the sale of their original works while 35% returns to the Envision Art Program to help sustain it.
Envision’s Art Program provides classes that are intended to build on the natural creative skills of people to increase their social and emotional skills, improve dexterity, enhance ability to focus, and improve self-esteem. The goal of the program is not to teach painting, drawing or sculpting in a traditional manner, but rather to provide the materials, support and encouragement to develop natural talents.
