LINC Library Progress Update
Recently Dr. Matthew Hortt, Executive Director of the High Plains Library District gave us a tour of the new LINC Library.
This exciting project is well underway and is still targeting completion in the spring so that the doors can be opened to the public in May of 2023!

Main Entrance Hallway
Wes Bruce will return to Greeley to create his installation over the next couple months!
Winding River Bookshelf
Constructing the river bookshelf that runs through the entrance hallway and around the corner into the main collection area
First floor area that will house the main collection (the circular fireside courtyard is on the right)
Fireside Courtyard
The Greeley Creative District time capsule (with items collected in 2020), will be placed in the outdoor courtyard.
Children’s Section
Children’s section with the Colorado sky installation and winding river bookshelves
Creative Spaces
STEM experimentation space, which will have a vapor cloud generator, paper airplane launcher and balsa wood workshop
Meeting Spaces
Board room meeting space (which will be equipped with video conferencing technology)
Conference, event or performance space, with raised platform
