Brighton's Sculpture-on-Loan Program

Call for Sculpture submissions

The Eye for Art (E4A) Program is currently accepting submissions for its 2022-2023 Sculpture-on-Loan Program.

All submissions are due by July 15, 2022.

The Sculpture-on-Loan Program is a part of the City of Brighton's Eye for Art (E4A) Program. Established in 2011, it has since been expanded into the grounds surrounding the City Hall building and Carmichael Park (located behind City Hall) and now includes the placement of large outdoor sculptures creating a sculpture walk for citizens and visitors to enjoy.

All sculptures submitted for consideration must be available for delivery and installation by or before August 15, 2022 and must remain on display until July 15, 2023. Sculpture artists are encouraged to submit applications to exhibit artwork that will be for sale to the public. Artists selected for the show will receive a $500 cash honorarium. A cash award of $1,000 will also be granted to one artist chosen by Brighton residents as “Brighton’s Choice.

Artwork will be selected by the Eye for Art Committee and subcommittee represented by community artists, businesses and local citizens.
