Summerfest features a fabulous selection of gallery-quality fine art and crafts chosen by a jury process. Live music, a children's craft area, fresh food and a cocktail garden round out a spectacular experience in the Rocky Mountain foothills.

EVENT INFORMATION

Now in its 42nd year, Summerfest is known for bringing in a dedicated art-buying crowd and for offering the best services for their artist vendors. Summerfest is hosted by the a nonprofit Center for the Arts Evergreen (CAE). Proceeds from the event support CAE’s art programming year-round. As their largest fundraising event of the year—they deeply appreciate all the patrons and vendors who take part in Summerfest.

BOOTH SPACES

Each exhibitor will be provided a space measuring 10’ x 10’. Each booth will be 6ft away from each other and will have ample row space for customers to practice social distancing. Artists are to provide their own display booth, racks and/or tables in order to display their work in an outdoor environment. All booths must include a tent or overhead protection with walls. Artists desiring corner locations or having any other specific space requests, will be assigned spaces on a first-come, first-served basis (make all requests to the CAE in advance of the event). All booth locations are final and vendors will be given their location before the day of the event. There are occasional high winds in Colorado. Booths/tents should be sturdy and must be weighted down or staked to the ground.

RULES/REGULATIONS

  • Summerfest welcomes all artists in any fine art or fine craft medium exhibiting his or her own handmade work of art. There are no quotas in any medium; however, the jury will be instructed to do their best to select a well-balanced show.

  • Artists must be present with their work for the entire two days of the Festival. Representatives may not attend the event in place of the artist.

  • Booth space may be shared if both parties are accepted—applications must be submitted individually.

  • Only two people maximum are allowed to run a booth at one time. Additional people must be approved by CAE.

  • The CAE reserves the right to remove from the show those items determined unsuitable for public display. This will be at the discretion of the Center’s Executive Director.

  • All vendors must agree to follow all COVID-19 guidelines as outlined here.

  • Entrance to the field is limited and items will need to be carted into the Festival. Vendors will have a separate entrance and exit from attendees per COVID restrictions. A limited number of volunteers may be available to help; however, Exhibitors should bring someone with them if they feel they need assistance with set up.

  • Exhibitors agree to abide by Summerfest parking regulations. Vehicles must be moved to the designated vendor lot during the festival. Exhibitors who do not abide by parking regulations will be asked to leave the show; booth fees will not be refunded.

  • Booth set up:

    • Friday, July 22, 2022: Check-in takes place between 1:00-5:30 pm and must be completed by 6:00pm.

    • Booth set up will resume after 6:00am and to be completed by 9:00 am, Saturday, September 4, 2021.

    • Booths MUST be secured and weighted. The area can be subject to intense wind.

    • Booths should be ready for the festival no later than 9:15 am, Saturday.​ Security will be provided Friday and Saturday night; however, we are not responsible for any losses, damages, etc.

BOOTH INFORMATION

  • Booth spaces are 10’x10’ and are priced at $300; 10’x20’ spaces are $525

  • Corner booths are an additional $50

  • Electricity is an additional $25

REFUNDS

The only non-refundable fee is the $35 application fee. The request for a deposit or full-payment refund must be made in writing such as e-mail, fax or certified mail on or before June 1st, 2021. After this date, no refunds will be given for any reason. If CAE is forced to cancel or reschedule Summerfest due to COVID-19, accepted artists who cannot participate can receive a refund for booth rental fee for the full amount paid. The only non-refundable fee is the $35 application fee.
